Our Premium Clean
To promote the health and safety of our communities, we’re taking the following actions as part of our Premium Clean program. We’re expanding our cleaning measures overall and increasing the time our housekeepers spend caring for each Arden's apartment.
Protecting our staff
The health and safety of our teams is of the utmost importance to us. Our employees and Landlords staff will be provided with, and expected to wear, personal protective equipment (gloves and face masks) at all times while visiting homes for maintenance, housekeeping, or any other purpose. Also, only one employee will be present in each home at a time. If more than one employee happens to be in a home, they will maintain 6 feet of distance from each other at all times.
If an employee shows signs of illness, or reports coming into contact with someone who is suspected of having COVID-19, they will not be allowed to work.
All maintenance requests from guests during their stay are being evaluated based on the urgency of the need. Non-emergency maintenance items will be addressed after check-out.
For anything that requires immediate attention during a stay, we will ask our guests to leave the apartment or remain in a different room from the employee, and the employee will wear a mask and gloves while in the apartment.
Sanitizing and disinfecting
As part of the guest departure duties, they will be asked to turn on all ceiling fans and/or HVAC fans. When our housekeeping staff arrives, they will open the windows while cleaning to maximize ventilation and air out the home if fan use is not possible. The housekeeping staff will make sure all windows are closed and locked before leaving the property.
All towels and sheets are washed and dried in high temperatures, and employees put on fresh gloves prior to remaking the beds and laying out clean towels.
Once the apartment is thoroughly cleaned, we treat both hard and soft surfaces throughout the home with a hospital-grade, EPA-approved disinfectant. We use disinfecting products on all major surfaces and pay attention to all high-touch areas, including door knobs (inside and out), light switches, remote controls, arms of chairs, refrigerator door handles, sliding door handles, toilets, faucets and knobs, clothes hangers and touch screens to name a few.
What Arden has always stood for
Before every guest stay, every apartment is cleaned and reset for the start of their trip. We use a systematic method to ensure that every part of the apartment is guest-ready:
The interior of the apartment is cleared of any items left behind by previous guests, and all surfaces are wiped clean.
Hard-surface floors are swept clear of debris and mopped. Carpets and area rugs are thoroughly vacuumed.
Sheets are properly laundered and placed on beds.
Bath towels and kitchen towels are freshly laundered and placed in bathrooms and kitchens.
All dishes and utensils are cleaned and the dishwasher is left empty.
Refrigerator, freezer, oven, stovetop, microwave, and coffee maker are cleaned.
Dining table and chairs are wiped down
Showers, bathtubs, and toilets are thoroughly cleaned.
All trash cans are emptied and provided with a fresh liner.
Exterior grounds are cleared, and outdoor chairs and tables are wiped down.
